To have had something like this as a kid was unthinkable when I was Samuel's age. I used to just dream of having some walkie-talkies! I settled for a couple of old post office telephone hand sets, 2 large 9v batteries and and some electrical cable, and hey presto Errol and I had our own intra-room intercom. That's right we were in the same room talking over a two phone handsets!! We had to talk quietly enough that we could hear each other over the handsets but not across the room! Quite an achievement really. Enough of that - here is Samuel on his 'unthinkable' toy.
