After a week of no activity the contractor has returned following his family holiday in Australia. Nice for some. Finally we are getting the seal laid and and yet more drainage. He has done a nice job so far. Especially with some contouring so that water flows into the sumps and not down drive ways (see top photo). As well as this neighbours are getting new channel drains in front of their garages (bottom photo) and this will help reduce the run off as well. So, we have gone from THIS, to this:
