Last night we attended Alana's first 'Satarday Morning Music' Symphonia concert. Alana was so excited and we were looking forward to watching and listening. As you can see from the photo's - the earnest concentration while she played and the smile of delight when finished. Unfortunately after her performance we then had to sit through another 1 1/4 hrs of performances - most of which came from the Community Symphonia Orchestra who were there to pad the evening out. Blimey - we could have done without it as Danielle couldn't keep still for the life of her, Samuel wained and Blair fell asleep! We couldn't even sneak out, as 3/4 of the original crowd did, because we had chosen to sit up front so we could see our precious daughter play and it would be too obvious if we did as not much more than the first 4 rows of the audience remained! As a friend sitting behind us shared afterwards - you bring a book to survive the night. Think we've learned the hard way. And if you're wondering - Alana's symphonic group were the BEST!!!!
