Gone Fish'n - "finally Dad!!"

Yes, that's right, after two years of waiting Samuel finally got to christen his fishing rod! Yesterday, Dave Berg me and the kids headed off to Karitane, "where the fish, they're just jump'n out of the water!" Well that's how it was when Dave and Tom were last at Karitane. We needed very little persuasion as we were really keen to go. Sadly the only fish we got to see were those off a local fishing boat that landed about 20 or more containers of Blue and Red Cod.

To quote Samuel: "Dad, I've got the answer, let's just buy some of his fish and take those home!" While it was very tempting we resisted. We all had a great time despite the lack of tight lines.
