This morning we woke to a layer of snow over the hills.
Not overly deep this time but treacherous because it lay over black ice and once driven on a few time it packed down into what was just one big ice sheet. This I discovered after putting the chains on, driving across town to pick up my boss and then gingerly make our way down the hill. We only had one episode of unplanned perpendicular "reverse" parking. We managed to make a good recovery and continue the trip with out further incident. Thankfully!!
This kids had a great day too - see the photos!

Wow, it's wall to wall sunshine here at the moment. We are all wearing shorts and sandals. Looking forward to catching up with you when we are back in a couple of weeks.
Glad you are enjoying some lovely weather. Make the most of it!! We had the doors open to the deck on Sat and were lunching in the sun so you can imagine the shock of the temp plummeting to 1 deg C!!
Ah the chilly south! I think I got a little sun burnt today!
We love your pictures, especially the snow. It is 98-100 here for over a week and no rain. Alana's concert was wonderful. You must be very proud of her! Friend USA
