A full on day (modeled along the lines of the TV program of the same name) of racing all over CHCH against 200 other participants to reach the final destination with different team challenges along the way! We started at 08:30 and finished at about 15:00 with a prize giving. 
From Ferrymead and pumping water by hand from the well to racing up the Bridle Path, next a rope bridge river crossing to measuring the height of objects (in this case a tree) using a home made instrument, then chasing the Easter Bunny ("...no Dad you can't shoot it!") to completing an obstacle course and finally the race for the finish line. 
These were just some of the many activities packed into a huge day which was very well organised by all the different Scouting groups from Timaru through to Christchurch.
